Basketball Tournament

Photo: Congratulations to our basketball girls who played in the Network Waitaki Basketball tournament in the weekend. They played one game on Friday and 3 on Saturday. They ended up winning only 1 game but had some tough competition and the grade we were in was won by the North Otago Rep team. Hugh thank you to Diane Mills for organising the team and also to Claudine Black (coach) and Helen Pope (manager with Diane).In the first week of the school holidays, I was part of the year 7 & 8 Network Waitaki Basketball Tournament held at the Rec Centre.
St Joseph's entered a girls team which I was in.
The teams were all from North Canterbury, Mid Canterbury, South Canterbury, Central Otago and Otago.
We had four games and we won one of them. it was really rough and tough but I learnt alot! It was fun!
